Judith Kraykamp

Lives & works in Oene/Epe, the Netherlands

From a young age, I enjoyed to draw and paint. I have studied at the Academy of Art & Technology at the Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede. In 2005 I earned a degree with my own crossmedia theater production 'The girl in the white kimono' based on the painting from G.H. Breitner. 

​

During my academic journey I had the opportunity to partake in a few drawing classes. Additionally during my time as a student, I received a few valuable oil painting lessons from my friend and artist, Frans Broers.

​

For many years there was a break in my painting pursuits, nevertheless I continued to find joy and inspiration in the works of other artists.

 

In 2022, I started a new artistic chapter by enrolling in painting classes with Caroline van de Vate in Vaassen, marking the first time I have formally pursued painting.

​

Presently, I find great satisfaction in recreating renowned artworks, drawing inspiration from the masterpieces and vibrant colours of artists like Monet, Van Gogh, and Frithjof Schuon.
